Design for Homepage - Phaidon Press
Brief: To create eye catching homepage designs across the main landing pages of the e-commerce site.
Client: Phaidon Press
I was responsible for the design or all primary landing pages across the Phaidon site. A rewarding challemge came in the lead up to Christmas 2017 when I was responsible for re-designing all of the primary landing pages of the site. Over the months of November and December the company has an increase of 50% traffic to its site. Our aim was to maximise on this influx and keep customers on the site as long as possible.
Grouping books by theme as well as specific gift box options I photographed the products on site, retouched the imagery and utilised these images as banners and icons across the e-commerce platform. I also created specific gift box imagery to encourage additional spend from customers at point of purchase.
